Between the Sea and the Mediterranean Nature of Jávea
The MSN house is located in a residential area in Javea, Alicante.
The starting point of this house is an elongated plot with a steep slope that descends to the south and with distant views of the sea and Javea’s Arenal beach.

The volumetry of the project is due to the characteristics of the plot. Factors such as the elongated proportions, maximum permitted height and plot boundaries, may seem a disadvantage at first but they end up defining the volumes and bringing the character to the project.
The access to the house is made through a double height space, at the centre of the ground plan. The staircase is located here, and it acquires great visibility from the rest of the house.
The day area extends like a long balcony, which generates a platform perfectly adapted to the topography of the plot. All rooms open up and face the views and the garden which is located on a lower level.

The vertical elements located on each side and in the centre of the house are made out of dry masonry walls, bringing robustness and solidity to the exterior.
In the interior natural colours and materials such as wood, concrete and natural stone are used.
