Volumetric Abstraction Above the Bay of Jávea
The project is located on the last available plot in one of Jávea’s finest residential developments. Set in a privileged location with a steep southeast-facing slope, the plot is bordered to the north and east by a protected green area of great natural beauty. The initial concept of the project is to take full advantage of the panoramic views that stretch from Cabo de San Antonio to the rocky massif of Montgó, encompassing the port, the bay, and the town of Jávea.

With a bold volumetric gesture, the upper level cantilevers over the lower, freeing up space on the ground floor for both vehicular and pedestrian access. This design move allows the living area to be positioned on the upper floor, maximizing the panoramic views from the plot.
The pool area is situated on a lower level, in a flat section of the site.

The project features a mixed and three-dimensional structure of reinforced concrete walls and slabs, adapted to the topography and resolving the complex cantilevered forms. The concrete structure is thermally insulated on the exterior, with a white stucco finish.

Inside, white dominates the partitions and flooring, emphasizing the unified and sculptural nature of the design. Natural materials such as wood and marble are used selectively, adding warmth to the main living spaces.
