Architecture in dialogue with Mediterranean light
BRG House is located on an almost flat, south-facing plot in a residential area close to the urban centre of Jávea. The geometry and orientation of the site facilitate the positioning of the project.
The house is conceived as an L-shaped volume formed by the intersection of two volumes at different heights. At their point of intersection, a courtyard defines the entrance to the house and creates a visual connection with the outdoors.
The main, taller volume accommodates the living areas, which are protected on their eastern side by a large cantilever. The west-facing side opens onto a terrace with a dining area, creating a more private and intimate space.
Inside, the white of the exterior façade is maintained, thereby emphasising the structure and sculptural character of the project.
